Continent: Oshur, the Desolation Battle Island!
Objectives
- NC Objective: Crush the VS and TR and force them off of Desolation
- NC will start with Izha
- VS Objective: Crush the NC and TR and force them off of Desolation
- VS will start Dahaka
- TR will start at Jamshid
- TR Objective: Crush the NC and VS and force them off of Desolation
- This will be an limited engagement scenario and the following rules apply: Stay on Desolation!
Changes to look for in 3.11:
New Features:- Major Revision of the User Interface including a new logo and revision of the fonts, status bar, radar, soldier management toolbar, and first time help dialogue
- Many changes to the default keymap and UI placement to make things more intuitive to new players
- New timed helper that assists new players by popping up context specific help as they move around the game world
- Added a Customize Appearance button to the Character Info window. This button pops open a new Appearance window that has clickable toggles to select the various appearance options you can earn as you advance in BR (Helmet, Hats, Sunglasses, Command Earpiece, etc.)
- We've listened to your feedback and worked with out Art Team to make hats we think everyone will love! The Beret and Cap are out as they don't fit the Sci-Fi theme of the game. All 3 empires how have the Sci-Fi VS hat colored correctly for their empire! This sleek hat can be toggled on/off with the new /hat command and is only accessable to those of BR24 or higher!
- Knife Holster has been added to both the status bar and the inventory window
- Confirmation dialogues have been added for the /outfitkick and /outfitleave chat commands
- Turned off the Bending and BFR infro movies when you first launch PlanetSide (more to come with these)
Issue Corrections and Improvements:- Fixed an issue that allowed TR MAX Units to unload full clips in a single shot
- Fixed some inaccurate text in the Certification training mission that refered to the old time (24 hours) to unlearn a certification (now 6 hours)
- Fixed an issue where destroyed router pads would still emit sound
- Fixed an issue where the Mosquito radar icon would disappear after traveling though a warpgate
- Removed the tooltips from the create character screen face grid and the select outfit decal grid
- Revised the Map Training Mission to remove inaccuracies and improve the flow
- Made a series of code adjustments and clean up that will help performance in high traffic conditions
