Worth Ditching my Mainstays?

Hey all, I'm new

Well...here's the deal, I play City of Heroes...but for some reason after the past almost 7 months it has seemed to have gotten old for me. The question is, should I ditch this for PlanetSide? I've tried WoW, and personally, I hated it. I've played other free MMO's like Silkroad Online and Rappelz but City of Heroes is the only thing I kept playing. Now it's getting somewhat old and PlanetSide just looks fun...would it be a worthwhile investment for me to order this? Any tips, comments or suggestions?

Also, would I still be able to play if I just bought PlanetSide and not Core Combat or AfterShock or whatever it is? Do I have to have these to play?

Aftershock contains everything you need, core combat etc is all included.

Grab a key from the key exchange and give it a try!

I will, but I want to know if I can just get plain 'ol PS...because I found it on Ebay for cheap...I don't want to spend $20 if I don't have to. Thanks for the reply and the info

Maybe I'll spend the extra money and get Aftershock, maybe not...depends on if I like it or not

If you're using a buddy key, I downloaded aftershock for free somewhere... the link is on this site.

You should double check, but I'm almost positive that you know get all the content, including Core Combat, whether you bought the expansion or not. So you shouldn't get Aftershock if it costs you more, if I'm right.

Buy the game I believe you probably need a retail key.

I'm in the same position... CoH has grown to the point I don't even feel like playing it anymore, so I am giving various others MMOs a whirl (or rewhirl for some).

MMOFPS have been more appealing to be for a while now, I have enjoyed my stint on autoassault, and I loved star wars battlefront, and always imagined what it would be like MMO
