What are Pops like?

im a very old veteran and i havent played in a month or so and im just wondering what pops are like, if reserves come back and brings in as many players as it did last time then ill be on like lightning. but what are pops like now, is it just br25 cr5's left now =/

Welcome, I'm an old veteran too (4years of service) but only came back recently because I'm fed up with HL2 DM and all other games currently, espcially MMPOs. The pops are decent, I play NC on Emerald and there are at least 2 or 3 continents with ample populations to have a good fight at almost all times. I've only seen 1 pop lock since I've been playing the last 2 months. I think the other two servers have a slightly higher pop.

I'll probably wait until another promotional thing or something before i come back... this game is a lot more fun when there are huge populations. The reserves made this game awesome like when it first came out. Hope the devs decide to do it again!

You're likely going to see much higher population numbers as the NA servers merge next month. IMHO, it's a great time for veterans to re-sub and perhaps relive some of the "old days", even if it is PS' swan-song.
