Got me an xbox 360 pro with a bunch of free games thanks to promotions. I have, gears of war, COD4, Mass effect, forza 2 and marvel ultimate alliance.

I'll probably borrow dead rising from my girlfriend's brother... it better not blow up!

I know a lot of people don't like Halo 3, but it's actually really good. Give it a rent at least?

Of course I'll try. Hopefully it won't suck as much as I heard... mass effect is gorgeous in every aspect.

Halo 3 is a good game only because Halo 2 is a good game. The games are too much in comparison. There was a huge jump from Halo 1 to Halo 2, and many people (including me) feel that the next jump was just nothing spectacular. The graphics weren't that amazing, and they could have done a better job with them. All the levels felt like the same thing, run somewhere and run directly back.

The multiplayer is still very cool. I like the spartan laser. I can't get enough of it.

I just feel that overall, the hype didn't match the game. I'd say still give it a try and enjoy. It's always fun playing Halo in general.

I don't play Halo anymore since I got CoD 4. CoD is much more skill oriented I feel, thus allowing you to really see who the good players are. Don't get me wrong, you can definitely tell a great player apart in Halo, but so much of who kills who relies on timing a beat down, that the weapons really don't end up mattering all that much. Halo is still the better party game, but CoD 4 is truly a masterpiece.

I finally hooked up my 360 elite to an hd tv. It looks gorgeous.
