The ending pissed me off... I have a tendency to be critical towards comic book movies because they don't stick to the story line... and don't even start me on what happened after the credits. I wanted to kill someone.
Otherwise.... the movie itself was good. I can't wait till "The Dark knight". Joker FTW.

Well... last I checked.... Fury is white... except for one shitty comic book seriers ultimate marvel or something like that where they actually took Sam's image...
He's out of place being that the movie isn't part of the ultimate series. Otherwise the movie was A+.

It's not the comic book is a movie. I don't understand why people expect these to be the same as the comic books. It is a different medium things are going to have to be changed and some things are going to be re-imagined, because honestly some of the comic book stuff makes little sense. You get multiple story lines, spanning years, with all sorts of complications. The movie has to end up being self consistent and self contained (not serialized like a comic book is)

So having Nick fury white... makes little sense?
Waiting at least till the second movie to launch the storyline of the superhero control issue and Ironman revealing himself would be too long? Alot of stuff can happen in between movies. Take the new batman.... he's now feared in the criminal community when dark knight starts. Nothing doesn't make "sense" you can adapt everrything and stay good to the storyline...

No, but it also does not matter the least what the color of his skin is. It's not like his being white matters. It's about the character. We're not talking about Beast being green here.
I said a movie has to be self-consistent and self contained. That means a movie has to be a story within itself. It also means you need to make sure you get your story strait. This is not true in the serialized comic medium. Just like book movies often have to be changed around to fit within a movie. Things have to be done differently when moving comics to movies.

Great movie, I really enjoyed it. I was hoping it wasn't going to be a DareDevil, or Spiderman 3. Actually Spiderman 3 wasn't terrible, it just wasn't great. Peter Parker really didn't have to dance around like that.
But what honestly amazes me even more is what is actually possible today. Working exosuits exist, even if not as stylish as the Iron Man suit.
