Problems PS after name change.

Hello,

I recently started playing Planetside again. I've played this game during 06'- 08' and all worked fine. Only i today i have a problem with loggin in.

Now i have 2 characters on this new server which combines all servers together.
I use to have my main character on Werner (TR) and if i am right the VS on one of the 3 armerican servers back then.

Bothed characters had the same name.
Now one name was changed with -g after it so i did some research and find out if you got -k -g or something like that after your original name. You have to possibility to change your name. So i did this on my VS character.
After i've done that there came a message which basicly said: The game needs to restart so the changes will be activated. I pressed okay it automatically disconnect then from the server and left the game. then i rebooted the game i tried to login for serveral times but he can't go any further then: Login Processing and then disconnect after a few seconds.

Anyone here got an solution? I would really like to play this game again

Update: I've did some more research, i logged into a friends account which worked perfectly.
Then i waited for a few minutes and then i logged into my own account again and this one worked fine too now. Now i am still curious which made this failure on connection a half a hour ago for 2 hours long do that? Did i just had to wait or what?
