I went to the 2006 Fan Faire, I think that was the last time they had anything Planetside-related. A few guys from PSU went, and then six of my outfit mates went. That's all that showed up for Planetside, not counting the three devs and some marketing asshole who nearly tossed his drink in my face.
It's a huge Everquest-stroking event. It's like being at the world's largest D&D game with some of the players in costume. I made it a point to ask on their Facebook page (SOE Art Portal) if they'd have anything for Planetside at the 2010 event and their reply was "No". So I have no interest in going until they can stop treating Planetside like Sloth-From-Goonies.
