Nice, although I was far too excited reading the news headline until I realised that they had interviewed Hamma rather than Smedley or a PSN dev

Good interview. I am quite excited and worried about Planted Side 2. I feel for all the people who play regular networked FPS games and never PS. I completely agree with there never having been a game with the scale and tactics of PS. Air, Armor and Infantry... oh my!

My most hated cheese ball tactic, not the players fault, was the OS. It was ok early on, but later when 20+ people at a base had them it was annoying.

I did some outfit stuff, but really enjoyed the ability to turn the tide of a battle alone or with a small squad. One of my favorite pass times was cloaking with CEs and hunting AMS.

I will say though, again, I am more worried than excited as I feel like they may change too much and ruin the formula that made PS1 one of the best games I have ever played.

I get what you mean by the "Experience" of the game. Trading war stories with people who played it with high pop was always the best part of interacting with PS vets.

I always loved gal drops too. So exciting. Max crashes on the BD were pretty fun as well. My fav vehicle definitely magrider. Worst cheeseball tactic, mosquito farming infantry.

PlanetSide's surprised me with such a loyal -- and literate -- playerbase.
That made me lol.
