An open letter to the TR and VS CR5s

I've no idea how many TR/VS 5's read this forum, but im putting this here anywho.

As of late, people may of noticed a slight change in the preference for targets NC displays during US primetime. We tend to favor Forseral and Hossin... a lot. I can say with confidence that this is due to our annoyance at having our homeconts targeted. You may also note that we frequently cap forseral and get quite nicely into hossin before leaving it to be ghosted back.

This is all intended. What I'll say is this, because I've said it elsewhere:

NC doesn't enjoy fighting on our conts. Don't hit ours, and we won't take your caves/oshur/homeconts with massive pops designed to just steamroll you without much of a fight.

Tl;dr: gtfo our homeconts and we'll not make your nights miserable and leave you without decent fights while we steamroll you. So instead of fighting on ours, we've decided to simply annex yours for a night.

So in other words, you want to hold hands, sing songs like "Kumbaya" and "Michael Row Your Boat Ashore" and talk about your feelings and philosophize about life and the cosmos? Instead of actually doing what the rest of us want to do, which is fight it out?

See, imo, theres really no reason to hit homeconts anymore. Well, besides drawing a distraction and to be assholes to each other.

I'm proposing, simply, that we keep fights on benefit conts... that are actually fun to fight on. Or, you can continue to hit homeconts... and we'll be douchebags right the hell back, camp your spawns and blow your gens anywhere we decide to go. Because, you know, we can play that too.

edit: Id rather not do the above. I rather like big tank and air battles.

You make it sound like the NC are the only people who can effectively fight on other peoples' home continents, camp spawns, blow gens, go anywhere they want.

Congratulations. You've just effectively convinced the other two empires to tag-team you and make you the centre bar in a Wobbly-H.

Fun fact: If your empire works together to resecure, or if enough players who dont suck show up, you can resecure bases before they ever flip to red or purple.

you mean how we blobbed the ever loving crap out of dagon, sungrey and andvari tonight? I do believe we followed through with what I had said would happen: gens died and CCs were overrun with massive sheer numbers. you weren't given a fight, in the sense of the word - we very simply decided to slaughter you when it came to homeconts.

Now, just imagine, if you came to resecure the base, before it changed pretty colors. Then you wouldnt have to stare at the walls for 15 minutes.
