While it's true they don't care about us now, I think I'd rather them be focusing on developing the sequel than figuring out some cheezy event to "welcome us back".
Having said that, can they at least pretend to care? Thats all I ask for. Just fucking fake it SOE. |

im not sure SOE would want to advertise ps1, sure to old members, but they will come back and back for PS:N, however if they try to get new players in current PS, they prolly wont have so much fun with bad pops, and the wreck the game is in (due to patches to try and find ways to make low pops work)
i think if they are worried that current PS might scare away an potential players for the new one. of course, PS has always been ignored by SOE so meh. |

Why wouldn't they want to advertise PS1 until PS2 comes out? It's not as if an extra line of text in a public website notice costs them anything. Subscription money is subscription money, and anyone playing PS1 is more likely to want to buy PS2 when it comes out. The 45 day trial is bringing lots of people who gave up the game years ago (like me). Maybe some of them will stay past the 45 day mark and eventually join in the PS2 community.
