Unable to download Planetside in Europe

I played planetside as a reserve some years ago, it was quite simply the best gaming experience I've ever had. With talk of Planetside:Next I felt I had to start playing again but with a subscription this time.

After waiting a couple of weeks for Sony's downtime to end, I've downloaded the launcher no problem, however...

Planetside isn't available on the D2D european or UK sites. The insall guide on this forum suggests using a proxy site. But I'm guessing that proxy sites arn't safe to input bank details?

Can anyone suggest a work around to this, as I'm feeling pretty desperate to play again. Your help would be much appreciated

*EDIT* Also, when hitting the subscribe button on the Launchpad, it takes me to an error page on sony's website.

I had this problem when setting up my new second account so my brother could play, the little secret is to change the D2D site from UK to US version and buy the game, worked like a treat for me

In the top right hand corner of the banner section on the webpage you see UK + Flag, just change it to US.

Traak, thank you for you're unhelpfull reply. Simply stating that you're downloading it for free is useless to me. Perhaps if you had said how you're downloading it free of charge.

I didn't really know. I was taken there after re-registering and stuff. I was surprised, actually.

i think fodderside accounts are able to be subbed w/o purchasing the game. i think thats how i got 1 of my 2 spare accounts....otherone i drunkenly bought the game because i logged in the wrong station account

Yeah i think so, i was never subscribed to Planetside in the past but did played in the reservers. When i wanted to subscribe in january/feburary or something i could just insert my game time card (credit card was also possible) and play the game without ever buying the game.
