Saw Hamma's thread here: It's been a week. What do you fear?

And I will get this thread started.
I can't wait for the new flight physics! Actually being able to "fly" will be a lot on fun I think. I can't wait for the lower TTK. Being an FPS player that played CS, COD, BF, BFBC, and many more, PlanetSide' TTK was incredibly long. Now, I don't think it should be as quick as those games, but PS1 had it way too long. |

PS1's TTK only felt "too long" because half your shots don't register if anyone involved is lagging. |

You know when you hear of someone playing a great game or watching a great movie that you've already played or seen, and you envy them for getting to experience it for the first time?
Well now we get to play Planetside for the first time, again. We get to start from scratch again, we get to learn again and we get to discover the game again...because it's Planetside, but it's not the Planetside we know. Ironsights and the lower TTK. The feel of the guns is just so terrible now and MA takes an eon to kill someone.
Volumetric clouds are sweet too.

I can't wait to see what style I am going to specialize in. I know a lot of people are going to be generalists, but I'm looking to really focus into one area. I've been saying armor, but I can't make up my mind. I'm just dying for as much info as possible so I can figure out what path I'm gonna take.

TTK will hopefully be around Agile level for the "rexo equivalent" in ps2 rexo had too high of a TTK but Agile was fine, esp when alot more shots start landing and we have 3x the players around shootin at ya. And back on topic, im lookin forward to just gettin back into the hardcore groove of PS again. I like some of the advancement ideas, that is if we actually get specialization. Although last i heard you could eventually train everything meaning the br 40 prob all over again and no specialization. But the leadership bonuses could be very cool. Givin a buff to your squad sounds right up my alley. |

I'm not completely against slightly faster ones though, I just think people forget how bad the registration is in Planetside and how it affects TTK. |

Yeah, damage degradation needed to be toned down and removed. I personally wouldn't mind TTK's turned down to about 2/3rd what they are now, but it does annoy me when people seem to forget that the only reason it's so god awful now is that half your shots don't register.
