The trailer used the music of Planetside (start listening at 0:25). I know it from tone to tone, listened it since 2006., and still listening in my car while I drive.
btw, the sms-ringtone is an "INCOMING MAX UNIT" voice macro! Funny when I have a message during a meeting. Don Ferrone did great job with the music - I want to hear his work in PS2. |

Really hope they spend a bit of money and time to perfect the music. The original soundtrack was well composed, but some of the synthesized instruments bothered me. it would be great if they stepped up the production a bit and used real orchestras and percussion sections in addition to the more ambient electronic stuff.
Basically I'd like to see every aspect of the games audio brought up to modern standards. |

I mean I don't know how they could, clearly a magrider and a prowler don't sound anything alike. But even to have a VG and prowler have the same sound would be kind of lame. As for the guns, the sound a gauss makes as apposed to a cycler is the first warning of what is around you, friend or foe. Which at the scale of planetside is a big deal. |
