Anyone else feel the earthquake?
Epicenter was Richmond Virginia, 5.9 magnitude.

I was at school, everyone freaked out, pretty fun though.

Hey, earthquakes are rare over here, nobody knew what to do.

I'm californian born myself, and got a good laugh at everyone's reactions, but it was enough to close the school.

Then again a snowflake closes these schools.

In West Virginia we're well sheltered from most natural disasters, but apparently even the mountains shake out here. I felt it while working at the bottom of a 900ft gorge.

I live in PA, I was asleep when it happened because I was up all night playing Planetside.

People are freaking out a little to much over this but you got to understand we are not used to quakes here. We have lots of old structures that were not made with earthquakes in mind. There is a major bridge that is 98 years old nearby (in PA) that was shutdown from the damage it received and we barely felt the quake here.

People on the west coast need to quit being hard core, on the east coast there is a quake of this magnitude once every century. 99% of the people who experienced it have NEVER felt a quake before..

It certainly wasn't life changing, but people felt it from Canada to Georgia...
Covering more ground then what I think is in all of California.
