Yeah sure ads is fine by me. For me personally they could always have images meant for advertising on the loading screens also. I have a vague memory that they used to have this back in the day. It was a Intel image if I recall correctly. Maybe it wasn't a ad but it sure looked like one.

WTF? You sell-outs. NO ADS for PS2 please. Advertisements ruined the whole feel of the first game. I roll out to a base, fire going on all around me, about to die and I see an old spice commercial happening on the wall?
The ADs in PS1 were tacky, loud and repeated over and over. They have absolutely no place in this kind of game. I don't care of the devs make money from them, Sony is a giant company with plenty of revenue sources, they don't need to whore out this game for a couple of extra bucks. Where would you even put the ads anyway? |

They... didn't ruin any feel at all. They were in the HART building and friendly bases. And how are any of us sellouts? Ads in a game aren't for personal advancement. They weren't nearly as annoying as you seem to think they were.

Considering they did it when they were charging us 15 bucks a month, I feel like it's not just a possibility but a guarantee.

$15 is "pretty hefty?" PS2 IS free to play, so it makes sense. |
