2nd, I need more context to your question. What do you mean by "what do you think the outcome will be?"

I personally will divorce my wife, abandon my children and finally become Auraxian...

The game? Lots of whining from PS1 veterans that so much is different. Lots of whining from new players that they have already seen that... (just think about HALO-comments when SOE published the trailer in July, or ironsights). Also a lot of whining from 12 year old inmature codboys that they want it faster and they want to solo a whole continent.

The press will be positive with the game (as they always are with new ideas or brave attempts to bring something new into the boring market of indistinguishable sequels of CODs or Sims or...).

I hope that new players will find the game of their taste and stay to play! This game needs pops, and I don't know what SOE has left on PC (ok, EQ) if this one fails...

I must say, although I hope I am very wrong, I suspect they will mess it up. Its not down to one person, or even a group of people, but I have been let down by to many games to even remotely think they will make it better (e.g AVP not even close to the PC version).

I honestly think PS1 was a bit of a fluke. Under advertised, I just happened to stumble on it on the net, and gave it a try, then they decided to split the world??? like WTF???, and then the BFR's, and then the server merges. PS1 was at its best within its first 6 months. then parts improved while other goods bit where taken out. And it slowly declined.

Of course we all have our own desires in a game. I guess im just a hard bugger to please!

I will thank god stupid threads about things we can't possibly know will be done with.

they, of course, will have their place taken by the "nerf it, it killed me" crowd and their whining to have any weapon that is in the least bit effective nerfed until it' s lethality is completely removed from the game.

And you mean like the Lasher? By far the best gun in PS until they nerfed it.

That's what PS1 vets are for

Oh, based on current info given online? I am going to absolutly love this game! I don't need any info about it really. If it's going to be massive and have that same persistant MMO feel to it then I will never stop playing this game. I started playing PS1 in open beta and haven't really put it down since. It's because of the persistent environment and massive scale battles that makes me like this game so much. The Sci-fi factor of it all really attracts me a lot too.

Also, this isn;t a static game that's just created and nothing else is changed in it. This is a MMO that is constantly developed on based on game-play design issues, bugs, new features, etc.

it isn't like he is alone in all this worthless spam of threads we are seeing with all the speculation that has no basis in anything we have been told by SOE or the Devs,its no wonder there is so much confusion,ppl read what SOE tells us and then they go off on some wild tangent due to the placement of a comma in whatever is released and then some of the crap gets repeated and then it adds more to the confusion

That is usual Pre Beta stuff, happens all the time, as people try to get the maximum amount of information out of every written or spoken word.

Yet, just random threats that dont even have a basis are pointless. After all, how the hell could we possibly predict what we may think after release, considering we know almost nothing about the game yet, nobody of us played it yet (or has seen anything more than the trailer), and the game is still under a very heavly possibility to change drasticly.
