Do you have any plans to put rear view mirrors into the Magrider in Planetside2? My Magrider chauffeur is constantly complaining that when he is doing his driving backwards and 'wiggling' while shooting he gets us killed by running into trees.
I know there are some cool games where they let your (Sony) PSP be used as a rear view mirror. Do you have any kind of plans for either an in screen mirror or an attached mirror? |

I would love that on aircav
No wait, I would hate it. Since I love "sneaking up" on enemy aircav I find minding his own business, waiting until they are flying perfectly straight and then start unloading rockets Doesn't happen too often, but when it does, maaan it's fun Last edited by FastAndFree; 2011-10-01 at 07:09 PM. |

You didn't hear it from me-he's a really good driver(I'll deny I said that if ever asked about it) but quite often the smallest rocks and deformed trees on ish jump out at you even when you're trying to stick to a road. *8)
Driving in 3rd person is great for forward visibility but it's rubbish for reversing. The only time a mag driver is doing it is in the heat of tight battle when you really need both guns on the target and so your probably using first person mode to shoot forward while aiming and reversing. It isn't that easy to memorise every rock and branch in an area while under fire and you situational awareness is being driven by your radar, the noises of NMe armour and the sky's buZing with aircraft. |

Maybe more of a rear view camera than a mirror.
Have the camera view be shown in a little scaleable window that you can move wherever you want around the HUD, resize it, change its opacity, etc. You could use the camera window for all sorts of things. Rear view cameras, deployable spy cameras, micro UAV's, guided missiles, etc. Maybe even, with the appropriate unlock, the ability to use the camera window to see from the view of one of your squad mates. You could make it one of the command abilities. I could see it being a useful tool for a squad leader. |

I love the fact that mags can nearly go as fast backwards as forwards but it's hard to do it without depending on max distance 3rd person cam and following the road on minimap. A rear view mirror would be very useful.
