steps followed to upgrade from 900MHz to 1.33GHz cpu
1. download latest stable release of BIOS and install it 2. pop out old cpu with old fan 3. install new cpu with new fan 4. check BIOS at startup. cpu is correctly recognized at 1.33GHz (10 x 133MHz bus clock). 5. reboot computer, WinXP boot screen comes up 6. 2-5 seconds later, WinXP complains about a corrupt system file. this file is changes everytime i boot. so now i run the cpu at 1GHz (10 x 100MHz bus clock). |

Sounds like a) you have the voltage too low on the CPU (You can turn this up a bit in bios) or b) you have really crappy ram (which the voltage might also be too low on.
Try raising your cpu voltage. ![]()

Yeah i know what the support site says, but it also states that there can be problems whit a 1.33 speed cause the board wasn't intended to go up that high... but try powda's advice bout cranking up the voltage and if that dosn't work then try the beta bios.. at your own risk.
