Just thought I would put them all into one thread. So we can drool at "all" the good looking factions!

I must say im impressed by all 3. they all look fantastic. We just need the Nc cloaker, VS + NC HA. And we all most done, untill the maxes arrive.

Im loving it to, I hope the next 3 videos are just as good. And seeing them all together, you notice the difference in music a little more. Fantastically put together and making me want this game more and more.

They are all fantastic. but I gotta say, VS video > TR video > NC video as far as what they show and how awesome they are. Except for music, where I like the TR music slightly more than the VS one.

Of course, this may be related to the fact that I prefer VS most and TR second most, although I preferred the look of a lot of the NC stuff to the TR stuff in PS1 and still preferred TR to NC, so go figure. I guess the empires looks are just more in line with my preferences as well this time.

The biggest thing that stands out to me in the NC video is the Reaver. That thing is a beauty. Aside from that, the NC video is great, but the rest of it just doesn't grab me the same way as the other two.

The TR video is pretty awesome. The HA is amazing and leaves me wanting to see the NC and especially the fully finished VS HA that much more. The Mosquito is also amazing and I gotta say that I am really digging the TR jump pack, maybe more so than even the VS version, so that's three things about the TR video that really struck me as extra special.

The VS video is just full of win though. I think the Beamer is the weakest link and I still didn't mind getting a better look at the new VS weapon design philosophy. The Infiltrator suit is the best look at an in game infiltrator that we have seen and while I kinda liked the creepy look of the TR version, the VS infil just looks high tech and badass.

I used to suck as an infiltrator in PS1, but I had a lot of fun just wandering around during huge battles and looking for stealthy shit to do. Then, years later I picked up TF2 and had a lot of fun as most of the classes, except for the Spy, which was a lot of fun but I sucked major balls. Then I stopped playing TF2 for a while and started again after it went F2P. Suddenly I was magically awesome at the Spy. I'm sure a lot had to do with all of the new, sucky F2P players, but I swear that I also got a lot better at the class somehow.

So long tangent short, I look forward to the new PS2 cloaker and seeing if my improved stealth skills will carry over.

The VS anti-grav pack is awesome, nearly as cool as the TR pack, but as much as I like the new TR helmets, the VS blow them away. I am so relieved that the VS helmets are as awesome as the last game.

The Scythe turntable? As a pilot, I've mentioned loving both the Reaver and Mosquito turn tables, so you think I'm not gonna rave about the frickin Scythe? That thing looks astonishingly superb and it has never looked better than it does in that turn table.

That goes double for the Magrider. The first screenshot we got of the magrider was from a funky angle and while it looked alright, I had some doubts. Those doubts have recently been washed away and, now with this video, I'm starting to find it hard to remember why I ever had any reservations.

So every video has had something that has blown me away, but the TR and especially the VS videos have really been great. I'll still wait to see how all three factions play in beta, but right now I'm predicting I'll be playing 90% VS, 9% TR and 1% NC.

Really looking forward to what the next theme weeks bring. Ever since NC week, it has been relatively easy to guess what the next weeks would bring, but now it's uncertain again. Map week? MAX week? Vehicle week? Really looking forward to what they bring, although we aren't even at the end of VS week, so still more purple fun to be had.

I know it is probably being a bit greedy, but I hope that the future weeks keep up the tradition of TR, NC and VS week and release some sort of video of some kind as part of the week. That has been a really special treat of the Empire Specific weeks and I'd be really happy if it continued.

NC so got the shorter straw in the looks-department.

Lorewise it doesn't necessarily even make sense. Sure, some are random criminals or other golddiggers, but NC also has a lot of the CEOs of the companies back on earth as well as mercenaries. The CEOs sure should have money for better than this scrap metal

On the positive note, I prefer playing the underdog (or not the mainstream ), and I'm sure that the mainstream will be more towards TR or VS now since they look so much better on a general scale (which means ignoring the ones who specifically like the worn out guerilla look).

But yes, they all look amazing. Even if there's something in Vanguard that I don't really like (but I cant really point out what is it either), it still has so much balls to it with that huge ass turret.

I think the NC look fits the NC ethos: Do what you can with what you have, and hit'em harder than they hit you.

I like the TR suits the best, NC is shabby rebel by story so I guess it fits. Purpuly fit tights, naaa.

The mosquito looks kinda weird to me, but I guess I can get used to it maybe with some cash shop mods, I can get it to look intimidating. Reaver is badass looking, and the scynth blew me away.

Vanguard looks like a tank tank, so sturdy, can't wait to see the mighty prowler! The mag is well done but it reminded me of the boat beetles

Can't wait to feel that repeater in my palm.

I'm thinking they are going through these as fast as they can 'cuz we all wanna see hires gameplay footage too.

I definitely agree with VS>TR>NC in terms of style.

I'm sorry, but NC got shafted this time, at least their base models did. I'm sure further customization will open all the empires up.

Speaking of which, how do we go about customizing our stuff? Do we have to spend resources we acquire from territory captures? Is there some sort of separate in game currency? Is it free? Do we have to pay for it from the cash shop?

Guys dont knock the NC untill we have seen the rexo in all its glory. The helmet we saw looks fooking fantastic, and the maxes aren't out yet, so the NC could end up being the best looking!

No details on any of this mate. But i would guess you have some stuff in the cash shop and some free.
