A picture a day?

Who thinks its a good idea if SOE post a picture a day for us folks here at PSU?

Im not to fussed if its the same object from a different angle....

What you think folks?

And remember it only has to be a twitter picture and the news guys will fetch it!

Sounds great!

But screenshots all have a purpose and a timeline - if this does happen it won't be till beta sometime.

The first time around PSU got approval to post 10 (I think it was 10) screenshots a week from early beta before most people are in. I hope to do that again.

That's what they've basically been doing. I mean if you look at it, there has been a very steady stream of information and screenshots for months now. Does it need to be "daily"? Nah. But I've really enjoyed the amount of stuff they've leaked so far.

I mean this video is basically us here, getting fed spoonfulls of Planetside 2 goodness and freaking out over every little taste.

If it came to choice, though, I personally loved Higbys and Trays appearances on AGN, I'd rather they saved their time for appearances there. It feels a lot more like meeting them face to face than any an apple a day strategy.

And then when the time comes and they are getting close to beta and release, they'll have their official website to post screenshots on.

It's OK wanting to know more, but this starts to sound greedy already. What they've done so far is REALLY amazing.

That sounds pretty awesome. I missed out on beta the first time around, it's gonna be great to be part of PS2 from the beginning.

So did you take submissions from players and pick the ten from among them or was it more screenshots that you or the staff personally took? I'd love to make some submissions for that if I get into beta early.

All the player submitted screenies would have to be approved by SoE or it would be an NDA breach.

EDIT: That's what Hamma just said >.< Anyway, point still stands, PSU could indeed do it, would be less work for SoE than having anyone in the beta be allowed to submit them.

For PlanetSide 1 all the screenshots were taken by me, I had the approval to release any screenshots so I took requests.

They are still in the media library

Smed was in our squad in a bunch of the shots.
