This is more of a LOL post.
I remember the greatness of PS1, pulling out a rek, and pointlessly lasering each other.... I feel the downfall of PS1, was the removal of this. We DEMAND THE RETURN OF THIS IMPORTANT CONCEPT. |

Heh, I think you missed his point. Ah good hacking enemy infantry. Good times.

But I guess for a numbers game in PS2 we need the weak to prey on. Cheers to all the noobs I kill come release!

Perhaps I'm missing out on something here. Has there been any word on a system or game mechanic replacing the REK?
I always wondered why the REK was handled as a separate item at all. Why not just give players a hotkey (like they did with the knife) that whips out the REK and uses it on what you're pointing at? (yes, even people :P) |

This game is sounding super lame. There's practically nothing similar to the original. I feel the old timers are not going to be too happy with this game, as it's a joke to even call it a sequel. This in reality needs a new name, distancing it self from the planetside brand.

Stupid shit like that can be fun though. I loved all of the quirky parts of Planetside that weren't quite right, but didn't actually hurt gameplay or balance. |

yeah! another great function on ps1 was spicing up the basecap hack time after enemys have left, by forming congo lines and do a big flashmoplike dance with everybody ;-)
waiting sucked, and stupid things like that helped a lot ;-) |

lol. i can imagine the fun with building formations of fireworks ;-)
i never played vs, so i had to have fun with congolines or lazerpointers, or the emotes that once were in, like /cabbagepatch or what it was called ;-) |
