New Layer of strategic PlanetSide2 gameplay.
(coinciding with Territory 'Hex' control)
Ok. So the idea sprung to mind and it got me thinking of unique command abilities. The initial thought was Nanite Smog. A smog of Nanites polluting a zone temporarily to deter enemies and consequently friendlies. It could be a number of things though in this future we're already expecting Nanite Systems in PlanetSide 2.
Basicly, a command ability somehow decided amongst players and executed on the field. A command ability to manipulate and suffocate enemies.
This all comes together with territorial control except they're contemporary.
Territorial Enveloping:- Nanite Sanitizer (Negates affect of any hex-grid Enveloping except Floodlight & Strikes. Does not destroy source.)
- Nanite Smog (Increases use of Energy. anti-VS)
- Blackout Dust (Dispersing dense clouds of pure visual obstruction. Directional spread to adjacent hex-grid. anti-Vehicle, Day use)
- C.A.S.D. (CONCENTRATED AURAXIUM SUB-SONIC DISCHARGER to Repeatedly impair nearby player's audio & visual. anti-TR/NC)
- Biochemical Asphyxiate** (Short-lived hex-grid attack. 'Leave before ## Minutes or die'. anti-Cloaker)
- Floodlight (Autobotic self-sustaining durable Sun-beamers for blinding. Directional shine. Night use)
- Aerial Strike (Thundering & decloaking upon destination. Vulnerable to AA and player-obstruction. Directional approach adjustable.)
