Planetside 1 Stream

Hey guys, I just posted a bit about a stream i nthe 24/7 Planetside Project, but I would like to have a discussion on this. I've been streaming for about 2 years, one of the original Twitch partners, and have been a Planetside fanboy for 6 years now (My battle rank doesn't show it...). Would anyone be interested in a Planetside 1 stream for nostalgia, and to see what's going on lately? I started playing a bit with the queen vanu (purrfectstorm), and it's actually pretty fun to stream, unfortunately we don't get many viewer wise. So would the PSU community in general be interested in watching / supporting a Planetside 1 stream? If so, I definitely have some ideas to make it look good, and enjoyable.

You pose a good question though... Is there an audience for PS1 game streaming? Or better question, could there be?

I've always sorta wondered how are streams so popular.. Why don't the people play the game for themselves? Unless they are at work or something else keeping them busy but wanna sorta watch something related.

That said, I could be interested, but then again I could also just play myself, but depending on your quality settings I can't most likely watch it

I have such a lame internet connection.

The reason streams get so popular is the streamer personality. As casters, it's our job to entertain, and present a huge personality that people would enjoy being around. It's really difficult when I'm having a bad day, but I have a cast the same day and I need to act super hyped and happy. The quality would be around 720p, but you can change the quality.

And I know there are plenty of people willing to watch entertainment, its just how you deliver it that counts. If you want to be a big contributor to PS 247 send me a PM I need all the help I can get.

Edit, oh and another thing, Planetside 1 can still be very entertaining!

I would watch your or anyone else's stream of Planetside. I already watch other live streams of games on Justin.tv or Twitch.tv regularly but i've also seen a few on ustream and whatnot.

I say go for it.

Favion, me you, Coreldan and GTGD should hook up one night get a little team going.

Oh, and some feedback for you PS stream, can you change the resolution (of the game) and turn in down a little, as the text cant be read. And its a shame as your streaming in good quality.

Also get an archive or YouTube channel so you can send them to it, and then folks can watch in all the resolutions.

I will definitely upload stuff to Youtube soon, my youtube is FavionTV atm. As for text, I can just make it larger, that isn't an issue, and perhaps turn up the quality of the stream to 720p or 1080p, as PS doesn't take much resources. And I'm up for meeting whenever.
