I think it would be a great feature if in PS2 we could book our outfit names from the strength of seniority from Planteside 1.
There were lots of great outfits out there and would mean a lot to those vets keeping there original/transferred outfit name over. Likes of my guild is (just) still active and it was formed just after launch 2003 on werner. Food for thought, or unless this has been asked before, then i appologise for posting it again. |

I don't mind reserved guild names but I think the idea of automatically reserving thousands of PS1 character names is a bit much.
If you want a specific character name, pre-order for early access and call in sick to work on launch day like everyone else. It's a ritual. |

I support a mixture of ideas. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that a database migration is in order - we do server migrations all the time at Bioware-Mythic. Guilds and characters get transferred in games all the time. I'd say the logical thing is, something like the Guild Pre-launch programme in SWTOR, only culled from the PS1 subscribers first. Any account in good standing with an active sub is eligible to sign up.
