New gaming rig help

Me and my brother are looking a making identical gaming rigs. He needs to play the new Star Wars mmo and I will be playing Planetside 1&2, Tribes Ascend, and Guild Wars 2. We also enjoy playing around in photoshop.

1. What is your budget and does that include shipping/taxes?

$500-$1500

2. Where do you live?

Ontario, Canada

3. What do you need this computer to do (like gaming, Photoshop, and so on)?

Photoshop, gaming, multi-tasking

4. What parts will you need for the computer? Please list what parts specifically.

Everything

5. Are you reusing any parts for this computer? If so please say what parts.

No

6. What kind of monitor/resolution do you have or want to get to use for the computer?

Would like a 22"

7. Do you have a legit OS? If so what OS and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

I need an OS.. Best one of gaming? Windows 7? Windows XP?

8. What are you looking for the motherboard to have feature wise? Like SLI, Crossfire, Firewire, USB 3.0, Sata 6.0 Gb/s, and so on.

I am not sure, I know my brother wants the intel i7 processor for sure and loads of ram (8gb?)

9. Any plans to overclock the CPU or GPU?

Not really, no

10. What time kind of time frame are you planning on ordering these parts?

1-6 months

Is the budget including both of your rigs or are you both looking to spend $1500 on each of your rigs?

1 to 6 months is very vague time frame as well.

No 500-1500 per computer. I plan on starting to order parts soon. So let's say the time frame in 1-2 months.

I cannot suggest ordering parts piece by piece if that is what you meant. You are best off ordering everything at the same time. There is new video cards that will still be coming out by the end of April, so it wouldn't be the best idea to say grab a video card now if you are not going to have this running for a entire month. Ivy Bridge (Intel's successor to Sandy Bridge) will be coming out in March to April as well. Same with getting a 2500K to only have the 3570K come out when your computer isn't complete.

That FX-4100 is a lack luster CPU. The AMD Phenom II 960T outperforms that CPU for the same price. The Intel Core i3 2100 for a few bucks more is far more worthwhile and if you need to jump to something higher the 2500K is the best pick you can have.
