I've just started playing the game and trying each faction and different cert variations. What I've noticed is how hindered TR Maxes are. They need to anchor to actually be able to do anything, this makes them prone to just about everything. Will TRs Maxes be altered in P2? I think I'm set on being TR because of the people I have been playing with and I'd like to use Maxes but their current incarnation is putting me off.

Well, you are playing a game that is 9 years old now.
TR lockdown has been the subject of some intense discussion over the years. It never really aligned with the intended design. You can feel assured that the developers are aware of this and will be balancing with this in mind. |

Kur your concerns should be balanced out in the beta. Personally i find the TR maxes great all 3 are capable provided they are used smartly.
Remember you are playing against lots of 7 year+ vets who know the in's and out's of pretty much everything so you will get countered quickly. |

As long as the TR MAXs are effective without being locked down (sucks being a walking joke) it should be fine. Plus nothing makes a defensive line like a wall of DC MAXs |
