Instead of kill-cam, how about a separate killspam screenlet

Presently, we have a killspam/message screen installed above the chat window.

How about a separate one that shows only:
Who you killed, and with what, and
Who killed you, and with what.

We could place this anywhere in the UI we wanted, and thus know how we died, without having to backscroll the message screenlet.

Uh, as far as I could tell the kill spam was separate from chat.

It was separate, but i hope it will be somewhere logged (another chat tab or something). You could miss something, or you want to look at it later. Maybe with clickable names for easier hatetells

Kill cams are fairly ok unless it involves a cloaker because the whole point of a cloaker is not to be seen at all that's how you know you are good

I still think we need the old killspam like we had in PS1 that was cool and it could be in a separate tab or something so we can go over the killspams of the day

I'm pretty sure they already had that in the demo from GDC - it was close to the middle of the screen edge on the left.

What if the killcam worked by just showing a tight in screenshot of who killed you...IN the killspam panel for a few seconds? Being just a screenshot and rather small it would be hard to gain significant tactical info from it but you would still know who/what killed you. Just a thought.

kill cam should show 5s prior to you being killed and how they did it. You want to stop hackers ? This is 1 way that works and bust them all out.
