Author Topic: Single Player
PureArtesian Station Member Registered: Mar 2003 posted 03-07-2003 12:06 PM user search report post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who's gonna do it? The single player part? And here is the word SporkfirePS Station Admin Registered: Jan 2003 posted 03-07-2003 12:37 PM user search report post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I spoke with Kevin for some clarification on this. There is going to be a short offline tutorial with the game that will give new players a basic overview of the game, controls, etc. It is definitely not enough to be considered a game by itself. Sure I see myself playing it. When I first get a game I usually read the manual(or parts of it) then play the tutorial if it has one.
I dislike players that just buy a game and play it without even reading the manual or doing a tutorial then pesting you for simple answers such as "How do I get vehicles?" I'm sure that the actualy VR training will be just as good or better(because you actually gain exp) than the offline one. |

I'm going to be playing it an awful lot unless I have a sub-700 ping on this 56k.

I got as far as just before spell casting, and then the thing when ker-puck on me. Since you couldn't go back and choose to start way ahead in the spellcasting section, I didn't want to waste my time with the whole first part of the thing, so I never tried it again. |
