Deployable Walls

With the TRAPs in mind(Don't exactly remember what acronym was) in PS1, I was curious about engineers being able spend cert points to construct walls to provide infantry and small vehicles some protection, or to attempt to deny an enemy maneuverability in an area.

Given how open the areas that we've seen so far, running around on foot wouldn't be as viable if you had nothing to protect one of your sides. To add some utility to infantry, perhaps engineers could do the above. Of course, there would be limits and restrictions to tossing a wall somewhere. Obviously, they would have limited amount before having to run back to resupply, cost resources, and have a limit to how many can be deployed at once by the same player.

Not sure about solid walls, but I support the idea of being able to drop force-fields ala Tribes:Ascend Doombringers. Kinda want to see a full speed quad smash into something like that.
