It is my long standing opinion that the keybinds interface in planetside 1 was the single greatest UI innovation since since someone thought "a separate volume control for speech, music, effects and ambiance could be useful".
For some inexplicable reason it was never copied, stolen or used again in anything I have seen before or since (much like the volume controls in my benchmark example).
I pray to the fickle gods that this interface will return in PS2, even if only though a "show advanced keybinds menu" tickbox.
