The look of the Scythe.

Does anyone else feel like the Scythe just looks a little out of place in the Air?

I think the Mossie and Reaver look great, proper gunships with a gorgeous design. Long and thin. I particularly like the tails of both of them, it gives them a very 'fighter jet' type look.

Now, to me, the Scythe just seems a bit weird. Its pretty much a flying rectangle with horns on the front. It doesn't look fast, or agile, or even like it should fly at all. I'm not saying it looks bad, i'm just saying it doesn't really fit in when put next to the other two Fighters, apart from the obvious alien differences.

When i was thinking of the Vanu AirCav, i had things like this in my mind.

They're sleek, flat, tiered, and look very agile. Everything i think the current Scythe isn't.

Anyone else feel the same?

I'm confused, that second ship looks almost exactly like the scythe

I think it looks fine.

I think a lot of the unique Vanu stuff looks like kids toys this time around. It's one of the main things keeping me from going VS.

i like the look of them they are pretty badass imo, and besides i need something cool to look at and shoot down at the same time

I think the VS in general should be more Cylon like and less human.

I like em. I wouldn't say that they look like kids toys. They look sci-fi, which is the point of this faction. The NC vehicles look like modern real life vehicles, which is the point of them. And the TR seem to look like GI Joe / Cobra vehicles circa the 1980s, which may or may not be intended...

Anyhow, I am all for SOE/Sony swinging a deal with Matel to actually make Planetside 2 based kids toys. Totally would spend money on them!

i think it looks cool. on TB's vid they look great and Alien, which is how they should look. i think they fit quiet well.

VS have a great style that fit their story, and the Scythe fits right in.

The scythe looks great. Nice and floaty, smooth, nimble, quick-turning. Everything a Vanu vehicle should be.

It also explodes beautifully in the TB vid - a sort of death-star style of explosion, so that should keep the other factions entertained as we steal their bases from under them.

i dident like the scythe at first but now i love it. it looks like a hybrid between alien and human tech.

I was not entirely convinced by the back shape of the scythe but seeing it in action, it looks great !

Did you notice how there are forward and backwards jets ? And they burn between the side-arms !

Looking nice.

Now the biggest issue I see is that the mosquito looks very much gorgeous... I'm jealous.
