Oh. Em. Gee. Higby said that the beta will be happening "very quick". Which is technically not very proper. The beta might be a very quick ordeal, lasting a day, or a few minutes. No, I think he meant the beta will be very SOON

Yea, I noticed that phrase too. Must be another tactic that can be used to avoid the beta if an emergency arises. Darn them! Darn them to heck!

he mean't once E3 happens the beta will be firing up very quickly(soon after) and it will fill up with people very fast etc.

I definitely got the impression that it was within the next few weeks or months. My guess is we'll find out when @ E3.

Actually, I believe his words were "We'll be letting people into beta very quick" -- which I take to mean they'll be doing the invites in larger waves rather than smaller ones.

E3 is the best place to make announcements, would make sense that they might even announce the exact date or month they want to have beta start. He's talking about the beta starting up quick, not the length of time. To me they still are very far off from release just by the systems they still want in, balancing all the weapons/vehicles, and the fact that they haven't even started on the 3rd continent(based on Higby saying the third continent would probably be esamir).

They will get the most hype from e3 if they make any announcements, plus if this is the last e3 before launch they probably want to make a huge splash with the gameplay/information coming from their project. Either way we win because we get massive battles and all new information!
