Faction Specific MAX specializations

As the developers have said, they're having trouble finding a specialization for the Vanu MAX's, and the other two are still being fiddled with.
I figured I put up a thread to collect our ideas for that subject here!
The VS' tendency is mobility and accuracy over speed/armor/damage, so I figured their MAXs should probably be specialized in the same direction. The jump-jets have now been taken by the light infantry class, so we really have to have something new. My idea, which needs some hefty balance tweaking were it to be implemented, would be to allow vanu MAXs to either A.) latch onto large vehicles (1 per vehicle), adding a hefty accuracy penalty to their weapons in exchange for more efficient transport or B.) have small jets that allow them to fall from any distance without damage (with an animation that slows them when they reach the ground.)
I'm more inclined towards option B, as A has a bunch of oddness that could potentially happen with a Galaxy and so forth.
I'm not sure what the current thinking is towards the NC and TR, but your comments and suggestions are welcome!
