I dislike people that hate cats, because cats only hate when you mistreat them. They are more independent than dogs, and can either like, or dislike you depending on how you treat them, very unlike dogs. In the end, if you treat a cat well, they are much better than dogs.

I once had a cat that would come to me when I called it and sit on my lap whenever I would sit down on the sofa.
