Just wanted to let you all know about this.
Do you want to start saving up some Station Cash now for when PS2 comes out? This weekend if you buy a station cash card at a retailer and input the code you will get bonus 500 station cash. So 15 dollars will get you 2000 station cash instead of 1500. (If you can find a 15 dollar card...and I just realized I sound like an advertisement...Oh well) This advert was found on the EQ2 site, but is good for station cash in general. P.S.I just made sure Station Cash does not expire. http://www.everquest2.com/news/artic...62012&id=51239 |

Please note that the following change was made to the use of Station Cash:
Station Cash can no longer be used to pay subscription fees in Everquest II or Everquest. While SOE did not say so, this was likely done to clear up the issue of people buying the $15 Walmart cards which grant 500SC extra and then using the card on tripple SC weekends to get $60 worth of sub time for only $15. That was just sheer insanity for any company to do! Also, it means that people can't indirectly trade in game currency for game time any more (which is not supported, not policed, and not actually supposed to happen in their games, but people will be people...). First, I thought there was a maximum number of SC you could buy on triple weekends, and that they only had this once or twice per year? If they did not intend people to use Station Cash to buy a one month EQ sub for basically $5, then what is the point of having triple weekends? Are the other items for which you can use SC overpriced to begin with? |

Guys, Sony often has 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 sales of SC. On my grad day in April, they had 3:1. I definitely am sitting on quite a bounty. And believe me.. Sony got theirs out of it.
I would caution those on a very tight budget to wait for these days. But! This is a free 5 bucks, good find.. nothing to sneeze at! |

Guys, just wait for a bonus double point sale, or even triple/quad deals.
I bought twenty dollars worth of SOE cash a couple months ago during the double sale, I'm guessing they'll do that again soon for summer or some other holiday. |

The reason I ask my CVS has a ton of 99 cent cards, and was wondering if i bought 5 of those if I would get 2995 station cash for the equivilant of 5 dollars. I guess I could just go try it out and only be out 5 dollars if I it is not, but thought I would ask if anyone had experience with it first.

Well in one of the video's Higby said Planetside 2 kind of has its own item shop currency that sits along side the station cash. And i'm not sure whether that means you need to buy it or station cash. Would be dumb to load up on SC to find its useless in PS2.
