I have prone stance on my mind!

People freak out when some one said prone and then they just receive hate. They say that it's to hard to kill the person or that prone is op... so your telling me that my legs can't bend and lay down, and now if I fall I can't get up? Also people say that dolphin dives are evil and should never happen! Well first off no there not bad and should be there because this is supposed to be strategic i thought. I as a player should be able to dive out of the way of oncoming bullets and be able to do a matrix dive into a hall way and shoot some one around the corner. Also I can hide behind smaller cover easily and that prevents me from dieing! This is not evil, or bad, or will destroy the game, it will make it so you can have a better way to support and hide from the enemy.

If I am wrong and am blind to the better opinionscan I see what you guys hate and/or love about this?

what if prone locked you into ADS and limited your vertical aim to 20 degrees? That's a fair representation of reality I think, and would really limit you if there was anyone else around to kill you.

No thanks. In my opinion having prone promotes a more twitch shooter/camp fest. It actually doesn't promote healthy tactical gameplay and thus should not be in a tactical game. If they were to implement it, the only class able to use it should be a sniper infiltrator.

well no, you should be able to move when on the ground and army crawl so that if there is a sniper you could hide on the other side with out having to run for it, you should also be able to SLOWLY rotate around to get a better angle.

Prone really slows down gameplay and encourages static battles, keeping it out makes the battles more dynamic.

Prone hate is all about making others play your way(if you are in the faction that thinks stopping prone will stop camping, which it will not, and people should not be artificially forced to play faster or slower even if it would), or it's tinfoil hatting, for people who think dolphin diving would be possible. That's been stopped in most games for the past couple of years.

No, it doesn't, these things will happen anyway, and the low TTK combined with nerfed squad spawning and long walks back from the Galaxy will truly encourage the slowed down gameplay you speak of.

well I kind of do, when I play a game i want to not feal realistic but i want it to be like it could be. See why not have it in, do you just hate it because you think it slows you down? I like it because it give me more options to make myself a smaller target and it hides me in the shadows easily. Now if you think that prone just should not be in the game because it just does not need to be your totally wrong. The gives players an option to use, the more options the more variety you can play with, if i want to look around a corner (witch should have Q and E to lean to the side like arma 2 does) I want to be able to have the minimalist amount of my body to show, prone here is the best answer. You just are to stubborn to see how it could, change the gameplay, help the gameplay, and make more verity.

then why do the army always in a gun fight use prone if faced on the streets, they minimize there body hit and shows that it will help with surviving witch should always be a factor in having mass battles that could be won over who killed just 1 person.
