Once weather in implemented, it would be kinda fun to have an extended night cycle every once in a while, where the sun is blocked out by the planets in the sky. Like an eclipse of the sun, only because the planet that is blocking it is huge, it would extend the night cycle.
So perhaps it could take an entire day, or a week, for the day to return. It would make for an entire change in tactics perhaps for a little while. |

An interesting idea... I definitely think it could be a fun event every once in a while. Graphically it certainly could be pretty cool looking. Personally I'm pumped for some night-time fighting, so I'd find it to be a neat event.

I am doubtful that the night sky is actually fits in the physics of planetary gravity and all, but it would be kinda cool to see the planets in virtual orbits around each other, and actually going through phases too.
Even if some of the other continents are on the visible planets that you see, to be able to see some going in and out of their night cycle would be pretty cool. |
