He's going to be getting a 1080p monitor. Not part of the build. Sorry about that.

Re: Build for friend

I'm at $900 right now for a build with a 3450 and 7850. TBH not sure what to do with the extra $100. What would he prefer? Getting a 120GBish SSD or a 7870 and 1TB HDD (500GB currently). Is he willing to wait for 2 weeks prior to ordering? I hear the GTX 660 maybe released the 25th if he wants to go Nvidia.

[12:05:48 AM] Risk: I won't have the money until like next thursday, so waiting for the new graphics card is a good plan
[12:05:58 AM] Risk: I've heard bad things about SSDs and don't really want one
[12:06:06 AM] JokingJames2/Derpymouz: You want a housefire that badly, Crimson?
[12:06:17 AM] Risk: I have an external HD with a TB on it, so I don't need a lot of HD space
[12:06:19 AM] Risk: uh what
[12:06:46 AM] Risk: You think it's gonna explode James? :c
[12:06:52 AM] Bags: What's gonna explode?
[12:06:58 AM] JokingJames2: videolink
^Nvidia cards
[12:07:00 AM] Bags: lol okay
[12:07:20 AM] Risk: TELL ME ABOUT IT UJESH
[12:07:31 AM] Bags: Unless you get a raidmax PSU, you don't have to worry about exploding computer parts

Lol at Raidmax.

Anyway I guess we will wait on the 660 if it comes. Otherwise we will do the 7870. Hmm can even fit a 7950 in there for $1004.92. Can he pony up more money for a 670? Only $50 more.

Intel Core i5-3450 - $199.99
GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3V - $69.99
G.SKILL Value Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 - $39.99
Antec NEO ECO 620C 620W Continuous Power - $69.99
SONY Black SATA DVD-ROM Drive - $17.00
GIGABYTE GV-N670OC-2GD GeForce GTX 670 2GB - $399.99
Samsung by Seagate Spinpoint F3 HD502HJ/ST500DM005 500GB - $79.99
Fractal Design Core 3000 - $69.99
Windows 7 HP 64-bit - $99.99

Total = $1,046.92

Motherboard may look a bit weak, but that has everything he needs. Only thing that maybe a issue is lacking 5.1 audio. He doesn't need 5.1 right?
