8800 GTS 512MB -- Worthwhile installing for PhysX?

Is a G92 going to do PhysX fast enough to even be worth installing? I have one sitting on a shelf, but I'm not sure if it's worth the struggle of installing into a machine with an AMD graphics card.

Well it's not like you can't just take it out if it sucks.

If you just have it lying around, why not? It's actually not that difficult - plug it in, install the NVidia drivers, install this hybrid PhysX mod, restart, and try the game. If the framerates suck... uninstall the drivers, shut down, take out the card, boot up, and let windows install catalyst again.

Yeah I've got a 275 kicking around that I might throw in at some point.

I just don't have any games that could use it at this point...and the card is kind of loud and demands a good bit of power.

EDIT: I guess I have Arkham City, maybe once I finish some more of my backlog I'll do some fiddling.

I have a GTX 260 in a box somewhere doing nothing, but i don't really need another space heater.

But if PS2 can use it i suspect i will dig it out.
