How Long Should MBTs take to be Destroyed?


I made this poll because I'm curious what most people want the TTK to be for the Main Battle Tanks (MBT).

Longer than it takes now IMO. I liked the vehicle TTK in PS1. It made lasting fights possible instead of being over instantly.

I'm torn really. On the one hand I know that tanks, with the right ammo, should be able to take each other out in only a few hits.

On the other hand, for the sake of fun I would like tanks to be a bit tougher than they are now.

Even then though, I'm torn. If tanks are too tough, it may very well come down to infantry being unable to counter armor(isolated tanks, not an infantry squad taking on a tank platoon).

I think Planetside had it right for the most part. Buggies could have used a bit more armor/health/whatever. Or, AV weaponry and mines could have been adjusted to do damage to them a little differently.

It should be difficult for a group of guys to handle a tank.
A tank driver should feel confident, but cautious about getting in too close.

Six is still way too short. That's shorter than in PS1, and PS2 will have many more tanks because anyone can pull one.

I'm pretty sure it's still on the fence as to if the default vehicle will cost resources. They said they weren't sure and were fiddling with it.
