Effective Streaming Hardware

Hello everyone.
I've been looking at the idea of streaming live gameplay for PS2 (and I'm probably not the only one either), and I can see that it may have somewhat steep hardware and ISP requirements, especially to broadcast at 1080 resolution.
It is impossible now because the game is still so far away, but I'd like to start assessing the hardware and connection requirements for a player to stream live gameplay of PlanetSide 2. Because of the emphasis on PhysX, I think Intel / Nvidia is the ideal setup to use, so I'm looking to go that route.
So lets consider broad basics to begin with...
What rate of Download and Upload are required for seamless gameplay and streaming?
What is the general memory requirement for streaming, so that a player can play seamlessly without having the live stream affect their performance?
Is a SSD drive a necessity, or can streaming be done well with a standard hard drive?
On top of video requirements to play the game, what other factors should be considered for quality of video hardware? Would video capture / live streaming cards make this easier on the video cards?
Is there a particular type of processor, number of cores, etc, that is ideal or required for live streaming? Or just the biggest and beefiest CPU possible?
Is there anything crucial that I'm missing here?
