drawing on map

are team leaders still going to be able to draw on the game map for their team? I haven't heard anything about this, but I always thought it was very amusing some of the things people did, and when it was used for actual strategy it was often very useful. IE. Join reaver squad, check map, ok, everyone binds at this base, attacking this base, AA heavy emplacements at this point.

I don't know, we haven't seen it yet. It does seem like a useful tactical tool.

Hey, just throwing this out there as an idea, but what are your thoughts on making it part of the squad leader certs? Make it so it's the first or second thing unlocked, of course. I was just thinking about it and wondering how much of the squad leader stuff would be given right out and how much would have to be earned.

This is a must for squad/platoon/outfit leaders in my opinion, and a big step up from simply placing waypoints.

Yes please.

you forgot to mention giant peinus that got drawn when the SL had to swap leadership for a second.

i would love to see it make a come back in PS2 (the drawing on the map not the giant peinus) and if it did it would probably be a low to mid level command cert (once again the drawing on the map not the giant peinus)

Then to counter that make it so that you can block people from drawing, majority vote thing, or just press a button and the one person cant be seen drawing on the map. Many ways to combat this.

Exactly! Only high level command certs should allow for the display of giant penis art.

Though seriously I do like the idea of the tool. As for the penis people, We should be allowed to block a persons drawing. Similar to /ignore

It seems like a great idea. I'd like to see some tools for it as well, like designated icons and symbols for LZs, types of enemies, etc.

We're going to see drawing on maps, I believe Higby has spoken on it before, so we got a rather high chance of it appearing. There's no reason not to and every reason to, and it's not hard to add.
