Why is the VS so popular?

Okay they get lasers and hovering tanks, but where is the passion? I would pick a pistol over a laser pointer any day...

Because in a choice between freedom and enlightenment through technology, oppression by the republic or the 'freedom' to work from dawn 'til dusk for enough money for a loaf of bread for the NC corporations, there is only one choice.
