That doesn't even make any sense in a game with different armor types. What, are they stripping down and putting on their colleague's clothing?
Not to mention, none of the classes have "kits". You can use medkits on yourself however, if that's what you meant? I don't know if the game will have looting of that sort. |

This is being discussed. As of right now there is no looting of any kind as far as we know. Hopefully this will change in the future but right now the way you get more ammo is by either visiting a terminal or getting an ammo drop from a friendly of the correct class (we don't know which class anymore because they're removing it from Light Assault).

PS1 had an inventory-system where your character could carry weapons and ammo and equip them. When you killed an enemy, his backpack appeared on top of his corpse which you could loot for equipment. You could also store equipment in lockers so you could use it later.
Thus, you could run around with a Jackhammer or MCG as VS, and vice versa. Enemy weapons were prized and there was often much scavenging after (and sometimes during) an intense battle. Nothing like playing as NC, being pestered by a Mosquito outside the base, running inside, opening the locker and grabbing that TR Striker and ammo. Sure, it was only good as long as the Striker ammo lasted but you can bet the Mosquito pilot wouldn't be expecting a lock-on AV weapon... his first thought upon seeing that Missile Lock would be that you went and got into an AA MAX! I kept an empty Striker in my locker just for the panic effect it caused when I was being camped by aircraft. More often than not it was all I needed to get the enemy aircraft to afterburn away long enough for me to stash the Striker again, bolt to the vehicle terminal and grab my own aircraft to hunt him down. I would love to see this sort of thing return but given the inventory system has been dropped there would have to be a whole different sort of implementation.
