As anyone who has played an FPS before, you know that there will always be that group of whiny kids who think they are the best person in the entire game.
With the ability to team kill, is there any thing stopping kids killing you because they are mad? And will there be any punishment? |

Not to mention the demo was designed to be a confusing three way pseudo-deathmatch. I wouldn't worry so much about it. |

I see the OP didn't play PS1. If you attacked a friendly, it would give you 'grief points'. If you got enough grief points it would shut off your weapons and limit your vehicle speed so you couldn't run anyone over. To start, it would only lock you for 10 minutes as a warning to those who accidentally hit friendlies too often. After the 10 minutes, your grief is multiplied, so you rack up WAY more grief from hitting friendlies. I'm not sure about the lock times if you keep hitting friendlies, as I've only ever gotten to the 10 minute lock (on accident, of course). I think it's like a 1 hour lock, then 1 day, and they might ban your character if you keep being troublesome.
Anyways, it was a really good system and it prevented most TKing. If you got TKed, it was almost always on accident or it would be your fault (whether you jumped in front of a vehicle or tried to blow the gen when it didn't need to be blown). There were still a couple morons that would TKOS you, but the grief system would take care of them quicklike. |

The biggest missed picture is the use of tactics in large arms. With out penalty, whats to stop a large carpet-bombing operation of a facility mid battle or an OS for that matter. then send in a squad that was on standby why every one respawns?

It is to worry about. When the game does release, alot of the same type of people will be playing, and TKing. E3 was the perfect example, in a small scale. They should learn from that and do something. There may be a need to "duming down" needed. Not everyone is a hardcore gamer, there will be alot of kids and casual gamers playing. |

In e3 they disabled grief points because they knew it would suffer from a heightened case of friendly fire. |

TKing is no problem, trust us.
And for the love of god, ignroe the E3 footage. It was just a bunch of noobs that literally played for a few minutes, and thats it. Of course they didnt know the difference between friendly and enemy. |

Haters will hate. Imo, as far as you possibly can, without being walked over, try to be on as good of terms with as many people as possible. Do that, and any haters will be looked down upon and it won't matter if they TK you or not.
That said, if people do TK you and won't stop... some times you just have to defend yourself and gtfo the area. I had a guy in PS1 the other day global for people to TK me. Nobody did except his own outfit, because the only other people who saw it respected me enough not to. E3 was a bunch of console loving journos who are crap shots anyway. Ignore it.
