So I had a PCG key which I entered back in april, but afterwards I entered in a lower-tier twitter key because I thought they were higher priority due to the fact that less would be given out. Do I now get the twitter priority or do I retain the PCG priority? I'm pretty worried now.

Pcg and ps1 vets are first priority, along with twitter and e3 keys. Basically if you have received a key prior to beta, or are a ps1 vet, you're first in. Vets are before everyone though. You just have more priority over random selections.

There are 100,000 PlanetSide 1 vets.
You don't need that many for beta. The server is full at 6,000. The set of PCG is probably smaller and there is money involved. So my guess the priority is: 1) PCG 2) Twitter 3) PlanetSide 1 vets Then again, maybe your chance of entering beta is needed / eligible = 6,000 / 100,000 = 6%. From what i can tell there's just 2 "priority levels", i.e. priority beta access and regular beta access.
Everyone with a key now, regardless of where it's from (plus PS1 vets) has the "priority beta access" and will either be in when beta starts or randomly chosen from and let in in waves once it starts (not clear whether they just let everybody in as soon as it's on or they go with the random waves method). Once beta's been going on for a while, they will start sending invites to other people that opted in via the PS2 site but did not have a key. These are the "regular beta access" folks that will be getting in later. That's what I gathered so far based on available information anyway. |

Ok, so:
1) PS1 vets / PC Gamer keys = Priority beta access 2) Twitter key / Event keys = Regular beta access That what that looks like to me.... Neither of which have anything to do with Tech Test. As they've stated during Tech Test they are hand picking accounts based on hardware specs. Last edited by Crator; 2012-07-14 at 09:55 AM. |

But this isn't answering my question, I was wondering if beta keys stack or overwrite eachother.
I'm guessing nobody knows? Maybe a dev can come in and clear this up? Last edited by stoof; 2012-07-14 at 09:58 AM. |

I'm not convinced (I'm not saying the picture is faked).
As far as I know both people with PCG keys and Twitter keys have "priority beta access" written in their account. In addition there was also a twitter post that said that they all have the same "priorty" access (all keys being issued now regardless of source). I'll add it if i can find it. |
