Veteran Requiremnts

I was told that having a Planetside account for 5+ years is confirmed for Veteran status. Has this been confirmed by the higher ups?

I apologize if this has been discuss before, but I couldn't find anything exactly to what I was asking.

I heard having an account before May, but it fluctuates wildly.

it is confirmed by several devs, that every ps1 account that ever had any active subscription is flagged as "veteran" and beta priority.

so even a single month of aubscription is enough!
only exception are accounts that were only used for free during the planetside reserve program. subscription means "only accounts that generated any amount of cash for soe"

Seriously though... I honestly don't know if they even know. I've heard very conflicting things. Everything from "everyone who has ever played the game" to "only people who have put money into the game" to etc.

I just went ahead and got a beta key and put an end to my worries.

Now, I heard that was the case for the Free 30 days of PS1 time, not for veteran/beta status.

check the beta sticky thread (if it´s still there and hasn´t been replaced by higbys new beta post)

radarx and several other devs stated it very clearly there:
every account that had an active subscription is considered veteran.

and someone asked about the free reserves accounts and got the answer that those accounts may be excluded.
