Q about somethin on the fileplanet vid

Ok on the new fileplanet vid theres a part where a guy shoots his bolt driver past the camera guy. then a quad pulls up beside the guy with the bolt driver. it looks like the guy on the quad and the guy with the bolt driver are both on the camera guys team but i dunno. Then the camera guy shoots at both of them and a little red NC symbol pops up beside his cone of fire. what is that?? is he getting greif points?

Grief points are good, If you get to grief point lvl 3, you get a weapon lock, which means your weapons do 50% more damage
