qubit - quantum computers

"For instance, a quantum bit (qubit), like a classic bit, can attain two different well-defined states0 or 1. However, unlike classical bits, qubits can exist simultaneously as 0 and 1, with the probability for each state given by a numerical coefficient. Quantum computers have the capacity to be immensely powerful because they have the ability to superposition. Superpositioning means a body can be in multiple states at once and act on all its possible states simultaneously. Therefore, a quantum computer could theoretically perform a variety of operations in parallel using a single processing unit."

How cool is that??

That's how the PHP is parsed for the site...

Sounds like a coding nightmare at the start to me!

So who is going to start learning a new hexadecimal based on 3 instead of 2? (81 instead of 16)

actually, that isnt quite true... I have done a lot of study into quantum fields, and mechanics with quantum physics...

How quantum computers work: *in a VERY VERY basic way, keep in mind that many many volumes of test books are required to understand this well, so this is all just to give you a basic idea of it all*

in quantum, everything has 32 states, each being opposite to each other *positive, and negative, but 32 of them all opp of each other* and they all have primary opposites that sit directly opposite of the quantum sphere *the 32 pieces all arranged together creates a sphere* now also, particles exist thought time, so what if, you had this one molecule solve some math equation *easy, same basic way we do with just 0 and 1* but not that it has 32 states, and can use itself from different points in time, it can calculate an infinite amount of date instantly, and give it back as 1 of 32 options, then another 32 set, etc

This lets us have a base code of 32 intend of 2, and since the 1 molecule is using itself thought time to solve the problem, and not just in our time frame, the response is instant

IBM has a working quantum computer, with 1 problem.... it gives its responses to where the last molecule is at the time that it will be when it solves its problem, or another way to look at it is that we can give it a problem, and it solves it instantly, but gives the answer to itself, but at the wrong point in time, so we can not retrieve it well, it ends up at random pts in the universe, like it gives its answer to that rock outside, or your mouse, or that tree over there, or that fish on another planet...
you can see the problem

but yes, this is the basic idea for the future of computers

P.S.
I know about this a bit, since I am developing some ideas for faster than light transportation that works with some of these principles *ever seen stargate... sorta like that.. but not... *
