Something to happen on 25th?

Not sure if this deserves it's own thread, and I know the trailer is shown at that day, but wonder if something else is going on...

Paraphrased:

Wouldnt need all of 25th just to watch one cinematic, right?

The way everything else has been hyped I'm expecting nothing but disappointment.

I would guess/hope beta is starting that weekend since they stated closed beta will begin this month and there being only one weekend left. If they follow how other MMO's have in the past invites will go out over the week and there will be a schedualed beta test over the weekend.

If this is indeed the case then....

This is true, I mean the tech test was put out on the same night as AGN's interview with Higby. :P So I'm feeling the same .... "Here's the trailer and here's the email"

The trailer is just going to distract us from checking our emails xD

On the 25th, they'll reveal their real-life experimental Galaxy with full-scale VTOL jets and drop guys in flight to present their new PS2 CG movie.

Those present at the SOE Command Center studios during the event will be offered to participate in a raffle to win Red camo army pants/blue jeans/purple italian-silk trousers. They will pair nicely with their faction's collectible t-shirts, dogtags, shoes and boxers.

Yeah must be something more than just cinematics, beta invite seems plausible or announcement of what sort of marketing is going to happen.

If I don't see a TV ad I will be disappoint!

It will not be more than the cinematic

Their plan is to keep a single day hyped for every week we're waiting.
So all the focus is kept on those days.

We'll all be hoping its our beta invites, and in the end it'll just be a nice movie/event/...
It's the way Hype is built up these days.

I wont be home until friday that week, so I'm mostly gonna be mostly watching you guys either be disappointed or happy on that day here on the forums

Even if I'd get in that day, no chance until friday :P With some luck I might be able to get my fiancee to start the downloading process so I dont have to wait 1½ days for it to download on my 1mbit net...
